Marshalls/HomeGoods Grand Opening - Festival at Exton

WP Realty is proud to announce the grand opening of the new Marshalls/HomeGoods combination store at the Festival of Exton shopping center on October 23rd, 2008. The center is located in Exton, PA on Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) near Whitford Road.

Grand Opening hours are 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and regular store hours are Monday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

TJX, which owns Marshalls and HomeGoods, is the largest off-price retailer in the U.S. and worldwide. The Exton store marks the 27th Marshalls location and the 15th HomeGoods location for the company in the Philadelphia market.

This new 52,748 square foot combo store features separate entrances, two distinct store environments and a common pass-through that allows customers the added convenience of shopping both stores. HomeGoods offers a rapidly changing selection of high quality, unique home fashions from around the world, at prices 20 – 60% less than finer catalog, specialty and department store regular prices. Marshalls offers designer and brand name fashions, footwear and accessories for the entire family at great values.

“We are thrilled to be opening a new store in the Philadelphia market and provide our great values to the Exton community. Although the economy is tough, we feel that our stores are more relevant than ever, because we offer shoppers unbeatable value on the most current designer and brand name fashions and home décor, without sacrificing quality,” said Jerry Rossi, Senior Executive Vice President and Group President, The TJX Companies, Inc. “We are confident that Exton shoppers will appreciate the added convenience of our new combo store, with one-stop shopping for all their fashion and décor needs at incredible prices.”

WP Realty purchased the Festival at Exton shopping center at the end of 2005, seeing the potential of the well-located property in its busy retail corridor along Route 30 that could benefit from entrepreneurial management and expert leasing strategies to re-lease the vacant anchor spaces.

Marshalls/HomeGoods took over the 40,000 square foot vacant space that was previously occupied by Clemens Market, plus a smaller neighboring space. WP Realty has a longstanding relationship with TJX, who operates a large number of stores including Marshalls, T.J. Maxx and A.J. Wright within the company’s portfolio of forty-five shopping centers located throughout the Northeastern United States.

Festival at Exton is a 152,000 square foot center that is also home to a mix of national, regional and local tenants including Kendal Fine Furniture, Empire Beauty School, Ruby Tuesday, Bonefish Grill, FedEx Kinko’s and Applebee’s.
