Joseph R. Staugaard III, CFA
Vice President - Capital Transactions
Mr. Staugaard manages the business aspects of all transactions — acquisitions, refinancings and dispositions — and provides for debt and equity sources of funds for these transactions. He works closely with the Acquisitions Department to analyze and perform high level due diligence on prospective purchases. He oversees the preparation of financing packages and lender and prospective purchaser due diligence to guide the transactions through to a successful closing. Prior to joining WP Realty in 2004, Mr. Staugaard was a senior investment analyst at OíNeill Properties Group, a real estate development company based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, where he managed acquisitions, refinancings, and sales. Prior to OíNeill Properties, he was a financial analyst at Capital One in Richmond, Virginia. He served in the U.S. Army for four years, attaining the rank of Captain. Mr. Staugaard graduated from Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Computer Science. He also earned a M.S. in Finance and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia.
