Cynthia Lutz Young
Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Ms. Young provides overall financial, operational and organizational direction for the company, its real estate assets and their investors. She is responsible for Asset Management, Investor Relations and Property Accounting as well as all corporate administration (Communications, Human Resources, Information Technology, Office Management and Corporate Accounting). Ms. Young has over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. She joined WP Realty shortly after its inception in 1995 as Controller. She was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 1997, named Vice President in 2004 and promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 2005. Prior to joining WP Realty, she served in various financial management roles for two national commercial real estate firms – The Rubin Organization and COMPASS Management and Leasing. She also worked for the predecessor of Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP in Philadelphia for six years. Ms. Young attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York and was graduated summa cum laude from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California with a B.S. in Accounting.
